Chris Cameron, President/CEO

Ryan Clark, Chief Financial Officer

As Accent’s President and CEO, Chris is responsible for the strategic direction of Accent and oversight of Accent’s business operations.  Chris brings a unique viewpoint of “disruption” to Accent with a desire to fundamentally change how organizations provide and consume technology services and solutions.  Chris is dedicated to challenging the technology status-quo while simultaneously providing a superior customer experience and simplifying technology solutions for Accent’s customers.

As Accent’s strategic leader, Chris has lead the development of the Accent Voice Cloud service, the wildly popular Accent Total Service program, and the Accent Recovery and Continuity Cloud service.  Throughout his career, Chris has worked directly with a variety of clientele ranging from the Fortune 500 to the SMB market, designing unique technology based business solutions.   These experiences help Chris understand the challenges of today’s dynamic business environment and drive Accent’s vision for the future of technology services and solutions.

Chris holds an M.B.A. in Business from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Information and Telecommunication Systems from the J. W. McClure School of Information and Telecommunication Systems at Ohio University.

Ryan serves as Accent’s Chief Financial Officer, providing strategic direction and consultancy on Accent’s financial investments and operations.  

A graduate of Miami University in Ohio, Ryan also earned his Master of Science in Finance and M.B.A. from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.  Ryan has completed advanced financial and retirement plan training and has received his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®), Chartered Mutual Fund Consultant (CMFC®) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designations.

Steve Hearst, Vice President, Sales

Sam Mackay, Sr. Director, Operations

Steve joined Accent in 1997 and since that time has been the leader of Accent’s business development efforts and client partnerships.  With over 24 years of experience in technology and business, Steve excels at working closely with executive teams to understand unique business challenges and design solutions which help deliver business value.   Steve continually distinguishes himself within the company through his creative and technological abilities and challenges the organization to think “outside the box” to solve business problems.  Steve is a strong leader with a limitless drive for ensuring Accent meets and exceeds client expectations. 

Prior to joining Accent, Steve was integral at Fujitsu Business Communication Systems as a Regional Distribution Manager, helping various companies (Independent VARs and Regional Telephone Companies) develop market strategies and increase market penetration in the Midwest.  He was wildly successful in this role, exceeding sales targets each year and increasing the territory revenue over 1,000% in 6 years.

Steve attended Kent State University College of Business Administration as an Accounting Major and has a passion for reading, endurance biking, running marathons and reaching new heights which few dare. He brings this focus to clients.

With over 30 years of telecommunication and technology industry experience, Sam has seen it all in our industry, making him the ideal leader for Accent’s field operations teams.  As an industry expert, he has hands-on experience in traditional telecom, Voice over IP, data networks, contact centers, application servers, structured cabling, and more.  In his current role, Sam is responsible for the daily operations of Accent’s Professional Services and Customer Service Operations teams along with project management of Accent’s enterprise projects.  Sam prides himself on providing the highest level of customer service and is dedicated to creating happy customers and raving fans.

 Previously, Sam served as the General Manager of Accent’s Dayton, OH office, managing the business operations, sales, and field operations of the region.  Among his other past experiences, Sam has managed a multitude of large enterprise system installations and been directly responsible for the management of service teams over a number of years.  Sam holds an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Marion Technical College and numerous manufacturer and industry certifications.
